Edward Underwood Photography
I grew up with a strong interest in design and the arts, but I never thought I would become a photographer. I figured I would either become an architect or a lawyer. After undergrad, while studying for the LSAT, I started dabbling in photography as a way to stay creative through my rigid studying schedule. Soon enough, what began as a clever distraction for LSAT prep became a full-on obsession.
Running Edward Underwood Photography is my dream job; meeting new people and seeing the world are wonderful perks. I choose photography because there is no greater satisfaction than create beautiful stories of your journey through love.
While the work you see is mostly wedding photography, I continue to work with clients well beyond the wedding day to document their lives. My wife and I own Edward Underwood Photography and work together on almost every job. Together with our sons Preston and Chase, we travel far and wide photographing people and in the process, their relationship with each other becomes stronger. I invite you to visit my website and follow me on social media to learn more about how we document love stories.
Edward And Shawna Are AMAZING!
The best choice we made for our wedding was hiring Edward— hands down he was not only an amazing photographer but the best vendor we worked with from beginning to end. Edward and his wife were not just amazing professionals, but also brought such a kind, supportive, positive attitude that it made me feel so reassured. We had very specific unique cultural traditions, I’m Afghan and my husband is Kenyan, and Edward captured every single one from the best perspective. It’s so helpful that Edward’s wife works with him as a second shooter, she has an amazing eye for design and framing and created some spectacular shots for us. They have great chemistry working together! I felt like I had a professional Vogue like photo spread of our wedding images. If it’s even just for the talent and amazing professionalism and energy, I can’t say enough how much of a difference it made to have Edward working with us on our wedding.
